What little things do you do for your pal that just brings them so much happiness?

A week or so ago, my niece saw me writing my pp and she wanted to know who I was writing and why I was writing the old fashioned way and not using email.

I explained to her in depth as to who and why I was writing.

She went into her room and emerged with a hand made card and two pictures for him.

I didnt think much about it, and mailed them off.

Today, I got a reply here is what it said:

"I took the obligation in writing your niece Melissa! I hope you don't get mad, but I told her you would take her out for ice cream and that you would get her some art supplies.Please do that for me, she truly deserves it after the happiness she brought my making something just for me. Please do not do that anymore! You had me in tears! So much love that I feel worthless!! Unable to return such love back!
"

Now -- I am the one in tears. The letter he wrote her was 3 pages and so sweet.

well, i go out and do silly photos, like of myself holding a sign saying hello to them with their name on it. or like for lloyd's birthday i had everyone that i talk to about him who support my writing sign a birthday card for him. i even took my cat's paw and put it on an ink pad and "signed it". since lloyd can get stickers i smother his letters in stickers and he loves it like crazy. mostly i just do creative things with the photography.

The simple little things, that we take for granted, means so much to them. And then, when they respond so positively and with so much emotion . . well . . there are no words for it.

That is so cool tiger!! It's the little things in life that matter. My pen-pal is like that with my son and he looks foward to gettting mail just as musch as I do!! Keep up the great work!!
