I just got a letter from him today, after nearly two weeks of silence(boy, if you don't think I've been giving the mailman dirty looks!). He's in the hole right now, for refusing to change cells and move in with some troublemakers, but he writes that the "ticket" he earned for this won't affect his parole on July 9th. Now I'll have to wait for the first normal, time-unlimited phone call from him on next Friday. I should be sad that I'm losing a penpal, but I'm overjoyed that I may have gained a new friend for life!

Blackie i know how this is as one of my dearest pen pals is going to be released on August 10th. I got a letter from him yesterday that he had seen the parole board and he had gotten his parole..woohoo I was supposed to go pick him up when he got out but the unfortunate news is that he has to go to a halfway house for 90 days so i wont get to do that for him. But he's promised to stay in touch with me while he's there and everything..I've already met him since he's in the same prison my cousin's in and runs the play room for the kids. Those kids sure are gonna miss him i can see it now....But i'm happy for him and maybe this is for the best that's what i keep telling him!!! Hope everything goes well Blackie!!!
