Hi, I just sent a snail mail letter to a inmate in Miami fed Prison, Now, I read they can't post ads, they get in trouble..Is this so??? Thanx

I believe that applies ONLY to Florida STATE inmates. The FEDERAL system isn't governed by the STATE.

Yes Leslie...lawdog is correct. The pen-pal ad ban only applies to state prisoners. I have a pen-pal in the federal prison in Miami and there have been no problems with mail so I'm sure your correspondence will be fruitful and flourish. Good luck!
