I'm not sure I understand the question.

Are you saying that the inmate was given a 100 year sentence ? If that's the case, it's not likely he/she will ever be paroled. Eligibility generally will kick in, depending upon the offense, at about 1/4 of the time to serve or greater.

When a 100 year sentence is handed down, it is the intent of the court to avoid a life sentence, and assure that they'll serve life anyway.

yes he was given a string of sentences due to a couple of charges that mount to 110 years, mainly 5 twenty year sentences plus 6 and 4yrs.he has served 10 years but has a parole hearing coming up on the first 20.im not familiar with the American justice system but would really like to know are there any chances you think he could ever be paroled?

It would be hard to comment intelligently, without knowing whether the sentences were ordered concurrently or consecutively.

Concurrently means that the sentences may add up to 110 years, but if served at the same time, it may max out at 20 years. If they're ordered to be served consecutively, that means he'd have to serve 20, then 20, then 20, then 20, then.....you get the picture, I'm sure.
