Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I was drawn here by...YES! That's right! The Susan Smith scandal. And since then, I have been lurking around this board, I have gotten myself a P.O. Box and picked up 5 pen pals. I have actually written to 10 men, but some have been returned, and only 5 have responded. That's a-plenty too. I can take on a few more or I can just lavish attention on these guys. I only reponded to gay male ads (or least, men who presented themselves as gay) and so far, I think we're all enjoying the correspondence. Not that I am looking for any type of romance, I just thought that a common ground was a nice way to start a friendship.

So, any tips, advice, etc. bring it on! One of my guys just had a birthday and I sent him a little money order. Hope I did that right (I never know how to fill those things out - too many blanks!)

Thanks Lucidity. Yeah 5 pen pals. I was scanning through the messages yesterday and saw someone had 100 at this time! I want to know how she affords the stamps! I want to get into that line of work, whatever it is. I've been in the habit of keeping, what Miss Manners calls, a stationary wardrobe since I was about 8 years old. I have formal stationary, casual stationary, postcards, notecaards, reply cards, and stamps on hand at all times. Lately though, these guys have been sending me to the P.O. for stamps more often!
