Hello Everyone,
After reading some of the post here I decided to register because I am in need of information, advice and support. My son was just indicted for robbery & 1st degree murder. (You have no idea how hard it was for me to actually write that)The state of Florida is seeking the death penalty & his only legal representation is a public defender. I am exhausted right now, i have cried all day & just trying to hold it together. Anyway, here I am. Hope to learn & possibly lend support to someone else.

you have found a good place with the majority of the people here being supportive in your time of strife.. ignore any that make rude comments as remember they say it only through the comfort of hiding behind their computers. read the archives and you will see that you are not alone in loving a person who made a mistake in life, and know that we are all here to offer a shoulder and a helping hand. this is hard for you as well as him and you need a vent to allow yourself to get the fears and feelings out. welcome arriana

I am new here too, but by no means for the same reason *Hugs* I am so sorry to read of yor situation.. you will find there are many many kind hearted people here, who can give you advise, if you need it.. who know, and share your pain, who will hold your hand, and be a shoulder for you to cry on... i dont have the legal expertise some of the others do, but i am a great listener, and have a great set of shoulders if you need one

I've been where you are now, it is hard but we make it through some how.

Niki our hearts cry for you and your son. You will find we have a few Mums here who's sons are in prison for the same reason. We are here to help if we can. Please take up the offers that are given to you, it will help. Our prayers are with you.
