Things are progressing our meetings with the Dr seem to be making me much more comfortable with things and I know the inmate is also for when he and I meet together every day for an hour(this is just a visit between the inmate and me. And is sperate from our sessions with the Dr)) much of what we talk about is carry overs from our sessions. Of course we still talk about sports and those types of things. He is also being to feel out the scope of rules we will be living with and how I will feel about him bringing dates home for possible over night stays. I jokingly suggested that maybe he should wait another year before dating. Talking about a sad looking person. I had to tell him I was only kidding he seemed very relived and understood that I expected him to be a normal young Adult which means he will be dating and having friends over for the night. Honestly I feel I am getting as much or more out of these sessions as the inmate for it is helping me to come to clouser over the death of Michael. But the new inmate is also seeing how every action any one takes can and does have an effect on himself and others.
