A) It is the LOVE OF MONEY that is the root of all evil. Avarice is a descructive emotion. (That's what that confusing commandment about covetness is against.)

A) If you're asking material, as in cloth : ramie woven in the style of denim. (Wears better, and is softer)

A) As minimalist as can be with children

A) Crisps (or potato chips, depending on where you are), with a cup of tea. I'm not too fussy, but Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations are the best.
