Escape from Stringfellow Unit

Sept. 9, 2008 - Texas Department of Criminal Justice officials are seeking an offender who escaped Tuesday evening from the Stringfellow Unit, 1200 FM 655 in Rosharon, Brazoria County.

Inmate Marlow Wayne Reynolds, 54, was observed scaling a fence from one of the unit's recreational yards. The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Reynolds is a 6-foot tall white male, weighing 186 pounds. He is serving a 40-year sentence for murder, possession of a prohibited weapon and tampering with physical evidence, all out of Liberty County. The offenses occurred on Sept. 23, 2003. He was received by TDCJ on December 16, 2004.

Anyone who believes they have seen Offender Reynolds is asked to call their local law enforcement department or 911.
