 Holiday Options for Kansas Inmates
 I just heard from my friend in KDOC that there was no holiday package option again this year. What IS available is that special holiday items will be added to their commissary (or Cateen) list and each inmate can spend an extra $50.00 on commissary from the end of November until just after Christmas.
Inmates on level 1 can usually spend up to $45.00 (I believe) max. During this month they can spend $95.00.
Level 2 are usually allowed to spend $120.00. They can spend up to $170.00 during this month.
Level 3 are usually limited to $180.00. They are allowed up to $230.00 through this time.
It can be spent all at once or spread out over the month. They go to Cateen each week.
Looks like we will have to suprise gift them with cards, books, subscriptions, calendars and the like. |
