The cheapest way to send money to Kansas inmates is to send a money order or cashiers check made out to Kansas Department of Corrections along with a deposit slip directly to the inmates account at Lansing (No matter where in Kansas the inmate is located.) Address:

You have to have the slips to deposit money directly into the inmate account at Lansing. You can get the slips from the inmate through the mail. I think you can also pick them up at a visit. You don't have to pay extra as you do for electronic deposit....just for the money order or cashiers check. I get a money order from Quick Trip for about a quarter, I think,(Maybe a dollar. I don't remeber.) then 44 cents for the stamp. Much cheaper than some quotes I've heard on here!....I DO realize this will be different for pps overseas.
