 Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? Can anyone tell me, when are prisoners from Pelican bay,is unable to rely to mail? my pp not replied and just wanted to know if there are places within the prison, they can be lock up and unable to write back as punishment for behaviour. I am from the UK and it the first time this happened. i am also very worried about his safety. he was in GP, its been two months, have written again to see if i did something wrong too. thanks any help will be much appreciated.       |

| Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? Something is wrong there, last letter from my pp was written May 14th and received here May 26, and I have 6 letters in the pipeline May 17th thru June 6, oops that is today! |

| Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? I think it's cali in general. My pal in Corcoran gets my letters 2 weeks after they are sent and I get his 7 business days after he hands them to the mail room to send. It's nuts.

| Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? Have Penpal in Centinela State Prison Ca and his mail only took four days. I have re-written letter but on white paper and removed anything I thought might be offending. so will have to wait and see. It just worring when he sent me such a lovely Birthday card. Hoping he ok!!!!  |

| Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? Good news, I received my long awaited letter today, dated May 26th, postamrked June 1st. No mention of any prison problems so I must presume it has to do with postal rate change and fund availability. Hope all of you get mail soon! |

 Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? still no reply, hope hes OK may be he changed prisons. odd he got till 2022. maybe he will re advertise so will wait till then....read there been a lock down but when till??? from when??? hes hispanic...hell I am really worried.... |

| Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? Try to send a quick note to say hi. When my friend who is at corcoran was at pelican back they were on lock down more than they were off it. Sometimes a note will help.

| Re: Pelican Bay, unable to reply???? Yeah, send a little note or a card just to say hello I dont have any penpals in Pelican Bay but in Fulsom prison, and i hate how long it takes to send/receive mail! Mine usually reach him in 7-10 days & i get his from 3-5 Chrissie xo |
