my husband just got 18 to life for a crime he didn't commit. even his lawyer knew he was innocent . The DA never threw him a deal and made him take to trial to put his whole life on trial. You take it to trial and lose then you get max time. anyways he got 18 to life and now he will be going to prison where he didn't deserve to go. nobody got hurt or died or nothing was lost, they just said my husband carjacked someone that actually let us borrow a car the week before and then the next week my husband takes it.....dont think so. Anyways my husband has to serve 85% before he is elgible for parole. Any chance he will get out sooner? im new to this forum thing, but just need to hear good things from people in similar situations. it makes me mad that a child molester gets like 3 or 5 yearsa and they hurt an innocent child, but my husband didnt even hurt anyone

oh sorry i see this was in California the statistics are only 3 percent of lifers ever get parole in california and the governor has to sign off on each one what prison is he in?
