Im all new here but have used several hours in here exploring and joining this site like a lot of other people from different parts of the world.

I think its one of the most important sites in the world which can make a different worth more than every gold piece in the whole world, but still im missing a little tiny opportunity in here. To seek and find people who also joined this site from my own country.

Right now i only can see this is possible if i go throught every profile in here.

Im i completely wrong - and if im not: Could this be possible in the future?

Rose if you look to the right of people's post there is a a place there that says location many of us have where we are from on there.

i have seen, that i can see where most of the other members are from in the forum, but i think it could be nice, if i had the possibility to seek out members from Denmark without going through a lot of posts in the forum.

The reason why i think this could be nice is, that im not born to speak/write english. My english is only for "household" (dont even know if you use this term) and in here i meet a lot of things i dont quite understand. Then it could be usefull to quickly find another dane who could help me in my own language. And the other way around. Just like writting the former thread which i, from your answer, dont think is written in a way, that explains exactly, what im looking for.

It also would have the benefit, that i could meet other people who writes to a prisoner and exchange experiences.

The rose, maybe you can try introducing yourself and explain where you are from and ask if anyone else is from Denmark? Its worth a try. Go to the forum called "Introductions and Stories" and post a little something about yourself there. Good luck.

I understood you Rose. We have members from all over the world from New Zealand, Dutch, and even Ireland. As Asha said the thread titled Introductions is a great place to meet others from your area.

It's not mandatory for someone to list where they are from, because of that it would make it difficult to really search for where someone is from.

It's a new thread, so no-one has posted yet. You are welcome to post there and I am sure by either using that thread or the Introduction Threads that you will find someone from your area.

Believe me, I have a list one mile by one mile for all of these kind of requests. I would love to get them all up and running. Unfortunately though, this forum is powered by independent software. Unlike the rest of WriteAPrisoner.com, it's a bit limiting. We're always working on ideas though, and we appreciate the suggestion.
