Hi SummerBreeze,
I'm not the official answer man, but I see that your post has been sitting here, for a while, without any response. So, I will try to help you with what little I know. I think that you are allowed to send one E-mail per inmate. The whole purpose is to send an introduction and get the ball rolling. After that you are on your own. WAP doesn't want to be responsible should anything go wrong with the mail department. Also, WAP doesn't forward E-mails every single day, they aren't a postal service. Rather, they collect all of the E-mails and forward them about once every two weeks. So, E-mailing PPs, through WAP, would not be a very efficient method of doing things. I'm also pretty sure that your E-mails are not forwarded as E-mails, but as a written notice to your potential PP, so it may not be very enticing, nor very private.
I hope that helps a little. :-)

Exclamation Re: mails

Here are the rules to follow when sending your first letter as an email:

NOTICE: You must read each rule carefully and agree to abide by them.
  • I do not know this inmate and have not written to them before. I understand that this service is only provided for first contacts and is not a means to stay in touch with someone I already know.
  • I agree not to send the same generic email to multiple inmates.
  • I understand that inmates do not have Internet access and that I must include a real address for them to write back.
  • I am 18 or older and have read the User Agreement. I understand that minors contacting inmates will be reported to their internet providers and that Sending Fraudulent E-mails is a federal offense and offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
  • I agree to refrain from sending adult language in emails.
  • I understand that messages must be in English for screening purposes.
