| The Prison Fellowship Logo. The Prison Fellowship logo is a bruised reed. The meaning behind it is from Isaiah 42:3, “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on the earth”. The Prison Fellowship ministry is to those who have been bruised, whose lives have been damaged, hurt or nearly broken. Our message is one of hope to prisoners, ex-prisoners, victims, and their families. We want them to know that none of us is so bruised as to be broken; none is so far away that he or she can’t be brought back. No one is so hurt that healing is impossible. One of the strengths of Prison Fellowship is that it is non denominational and volunteers come from many different church backgrounds. When we enter prison a united, simple, Christ centred, message is proclaimed – there is hope for you, you are loved, you can be made whole. Prison Fellowship Australia - state_homepage
