And here is why:
1)Time- We have been at this for 8 years and during this time he was very hesitant to turn our situation into a relationship until we both got to know each other way beyond the intoxicatingletters and heated visits.
2)Family- I have met and got very close with his Mother and other family members
3)Finances- He has sent me money (not much but over 8 years its well needed pocket change) to set up a bank account so when he gets released its not all on me to provide.
4)Plan B- We have discussed plan B in case we dont work out inthe free world. He still wants to be a close person in my life. In other words if we break up, it AIN'T because he will have scammed me-We just did not work out.

,,ok I could go on but I want to ask the Board the same.
How do you know your relationship is scam proof?

mines pretty much same as yours, same amount of time together tho we fell for each other fast, he sends me money, we used to be close to his family but they have gone AWOL now, they might write the odd letter to him,
he could like so many others be writing others, but i trust him, i nag to much for him to stick around and send me money if he wasnt for real, he dont get nothing from me in a material way, were scam proofed :-)
