Question Are they coming home to you?

Question: Is your loved one coming home to you after release?
If not will it continue to be a long distance situation?
How long will it be a long distance situation until you decide to co-habitate?

It wont be a long distance situation because I'm going to move down there to my p.i.l
We have talked about that step over 2 years now before I have made that decision.

I am happy to say yes. I was going to move to Texas, after some long discussions we finally decided on Florida. Don't get me wrong... Texas is a great place. The times I have been there to visit with her family I had a great time. I really did love Texas. Two things about Texas I loved the most.... 1) Cost of living. It was unbelievable. 2) Whataburger... did I spell that right? Somebody needs to bring that franchise to Florida ! Oh I also love the people of Texas. Much like Floridians they are very friendly and laid back. Great people come from Texas. Thing is ... it is just so BIG. It seems that just to cross the street you have to get on a freeway. To big for me.

In the end though I have found I am a true South Florida boy.... Born and raised I love my own state too much. Hey.. there are not to many of us left ! I always say that the problem with Florida is that there are no Floridians left in it. HAHA. So I have to hold down the fort so to speak... Keep all y'all yankees in check. Plus we have found it is much easier for her to move here then it is me. I am all ready well established here and we would not have to worry about " starting over" .

Hopefully I do not sound selfish in this. After making countless pros and cons lists it just seems like the best option.

bradley, that's spooky, I want to move to Oregon too!

I would be happier if Hubby could move here to the UK, but that is extremely unlikely to happen for many reasons (none of them good ones imo, but all official ones). So I have to be somewhere in the US, and I would prefer to be in Oregon than TX.

When we get to that point, we will decide if he wants a place of his own, or a part of wherever I am, or if we will properly cohabit.

oregon is nice. I've lived in portland before... we're looking at places on the coast though.. I grew up in seattle... before this all happened I was one foot out the door to sf or ny.. so I was in a good place to be flexible. It's all worked out really well.

I hope the best for you two, Texas is nice, but Oregon is quiet, cheap, and lush with trees and green!

There's a WHATABURGER here in Tampa. You'll just have to come to the Bay area!<--------What the heck is THAT?

I wish i could even think that far ahead....this road is proving to be a very rocky one, & very very complicated (aren't they all!). There's been some really hurtful set backs...let's just say polygamy isn't my thing

Depends on your pp and at least it shows if the whole pp stuff was just a game for them or not.

I've been in contact with my guy for about 4 years, and we're really close...but he failed to let on that he's had a woman waiting for him on the outside for nearly 10 yrs. It was so crushing, i can't even begin to explain it. Not just for myself, but his girl too, we ended up in touch with each other & as much as i hate to admit it, she's lovely...i can't fault her...but now he's got ideas that we could both "share" him, because we didn't scratch each other's eyes out. That's not the path i see my life taking, i'm all too happy to compromise, but that's not right to me
