I contacted inmates records this am, Eveything i had on my brother matches there records ,, I finally found him after all these years, And still will not be able to contact him only by letter. Thats sad he has been in prision his whole adult life, From a foster home straight to the prision, And has not had a visitor since 1988.If i only knew i could have been there for him. Maybe one day i can go see him..

If you contact him Have him send you a I - 60 slip for visiting .by sometime in late 2008 maybe early 2009 they will have phones not sure about Estelle but I know TDCJ is supposed to have phones installed by OCT 2008 but I doubt it probably later . so you can get a call if he is classified to be able to call

I am sure he would love a visit and you get a 4 hr visit if you travel more than 300 miles and he is able to have one , you have to write the Warden as does he .

Wild Bill, so they did talk to you? That’s good. I had a feeling they might if it was an issue of trying to establish if you two were in fact related. It sounds like a positive ID. Why not write him a letter just to break the ice and see how it goes. And then like ASE mentioned you can perhaps get on his visitation list and go see him face to face. Bittersweet, but you are family nonetheless and quite possibly all he has in the world. Good luck to the both of you. Congratulations!

I hope you keep us posted on how things went this is really interesting and these kind of storys really are something else ,my biological mother was inside a facility when she gave birth to me i could never get any information no name or anything but believe me i did a search i teied to find out how many women in that place had babys in that prison that year tried to get a list of names but came up empty handed so its great to hear when someone strikes gold like you did and i'd love to hear how it went congradulations and best of luck to you

i wish u luck finding your brother!my brother was killed 2 days ago at pikeville tennesse prison.he would been out in 3 yrs.he was beat and stabbed until he was brain dead he was 43.i want justice! i want pikeville prison to pay for my brothers murder.
