I myself have gone thorugh this silent thing from the PP, but you know what I have been writing back and forth with my pp for over 10 years , and well he is always going thorugh this , after all they are in Prison and they have their bad days too , but I continue to write back and forth , because I know he will get in the mood again where he can write , and I dont take it out on him because I know I have days that I am not in the mood for writing as well , and sometimes I can take a while to get back into it , and I am on the outside , can you just imagine what they are going through on the inside ,, I started out writing my PP through a criminal justice pp thing , and I have had the same pp like I said going on longer then 10 years , we started out as friends , and got to know each other , we can talk about anything , and then at one time we were in a relationship , but that didnt last long because I got married , and now we remain friends , and yes he is mad sometimes because I didnt wait , and all , but we both know it was for the best , and well we are still remain friends till this day , and we write almost every week .

Sometimes these guys go through the motions and get all depressed and just stop writing to their pen pals and family members. Other times they get into problems with other inmates and are all stressed out. My advise to you is to hang in there and send him a note letting him know you love and miss him and you are there for him if he needs to talk. I'm sure he will get back to you. Let me know how it turns out?

hi well im sorry your going throw this but my childs father did the same thing i was writeing him every day hewould call and every thing but with your penpal maybe he needs to get his self togetha maybe he has things on his head he needs to straght just give it sometime and if he really loves you he will come around

SURE! NOW I see this after I sent a nasty gram to my boyfriend. I just can't handle all these gaps. It's driving me bonkers. I wonder sometimes how I'll make it thru the next 21 months if they are going to go like the last 2 have.

Sad but true doesn't matter if the one who is locked up is your hubby,bf,gf that means going through pretty hard times,not just because of getting no mail for weeks.No visits on lockdown.
They know what you're talking about on the phone.
And they have staff who are reading the things in every prison forum.
