| | Burial Funeral Plan Living Will Was wondering if anyone has spoken about this to their loved one, or has had any experience or knowledge regarding if one was to pass inside the wall, or left on life support, and you are named as next of kin.

My Mood: | | Re: Burial Funeral Plan Living Will I’m with Skye on this. Living will is the way to go. We often don’t think about it. You never know what could happen. You could get hit by a bus tomorrow crossing the street. Most of these wills don’t require the assistance of an attorney unless you have a lot of assets and complicated issues to deal with. In that case, it might be necessary to seek legal aid but worth the piece of mind.

| | Re: Burial Funeral Plan Living Will Couldn't agree more about the Living Will for all. Just wondered how that would be applied if one was left on life support within the system? And if no next of kin, then who makes the decisions? Is their a board of people, the hospital staff? One friend has talked in depth about this recently and it has prompted me to want to learn more in that area. Talked about how they are buried if no one was to claim the body etc, and how people receive after they pass as next of kin, but that was all he really knew.

My Mood: | | Re: Burial Funeral Plan Living Will Wow....I assume they see if the person has next of kin and if not have some idea what inmates wishes are but ifstate has to pay it would be a rather simple thing, lots of prisons have a graveyard. I planned my own and have documents I want to be cremated and tossed in wind. |

My Mood: | | Re: Burial Funeral Plan Living Will Smiley, you can most likely find plenty of information on the internet (or even a local hospital) to you and get the forms and send those to your pal. If he's in the states, I think he will be able to do it on his own. It will ask all those questions about if he's ever on life support and also if he wants a DNR (do not resuscitate order). Some of it might be a little complicated but he should be able to ask the education building/library in the prison there if he needs clarification on any of the questions. Its all accessible.
