Sadly they cannot get photos with out having a visit . Andy Kahan is behind this also . It is not a TDCJ conspiracy , but a vote getting scam .

TX residents need to get rid of him . He cost TX many many millions if not billions in law suites every year often his side loses !

I am quite heart broken that my pp is facing many years in a TDCJ prison for a non-violent crime. Would you be able to advise how likely he is able to get his sentence shortened?

Your pp is in jail for what ? if it's a non violent crime... a drug traffic ?

I wonder - the American justice system is one of a kind. It's both complicated and hard to follow !

He is in jail because he sent out an email that included child porn. For that he was sentenced to 40 years, which is really crazy relative to the other violent crimes. I sincerely hope that he can get a parole because it breaks my heart that he has to spend so many years behind bars. I think the American system is complicated because different states have different laws, and some states are more strict that others.

OK, call me old fashioned or naive, but if your pp had an image that contained child porn, then that child had been violated. it doesn't matter if your pal was the one taking the picture or doing the act itself, he was perpetuating the activity by distributing it. THAT is what makes it a violent offense. And just because he only sent one picture, that may have been all that the DA chose to prosecute him with at that time - they do not always bring as many charges as they can straight away, so that if the defendent is found not guilty of the first, the DA can still try with the next charge.

How is perpetuating harm to children in any way less of a crime than any other violent offence?
