Can someone explain the difference between "European Groupie" and "American Groupie" - are these groups male or female? Is Richard Tabler's mother a "Groupie" ? Correctional Guards who compromise facility security "Groupies"?

While off topic dirty bosses and rank are not gruopies . We All know who is and who is not a groupie

But to make it easier ,here is a thread about DR and prison gruopies .

How would you define a 'prison groupie'?


Bart has a very devoted base of gruopies . They are in some ways similar to the Manson family .

It is not surprising Bart's mail isvery closely read and copied , along with oters on DR who have blogs and possibly cell phones with internet capablities .

Bart just happenst o be more articulate and better educated than most DR prisoners

I would not say better educated, Ase. He failed out. He is articulate, which makes what he did an even bigger horror.

I mean, here is a kid that could have gone dang near anywhere, serieously. But he chose to squander his talents and murdered 2 people, and almost getting a third.

Articulate yes, educated yes. So was Bundy.


He proves it does not take a bad family life or abuse, and one still makes a choice to murder his own family, for "money" greed, selfish, me me me, and cold............ human life has no value, the dead definitely had their human rights taken away for no humane reason.

True Peanut. What makes people like Bart or now deceased Bundy tick is not really well known . Many psychopaths come from very good families interestingly .

Bart did not fail he simply stopped going to college. No one but bart knows why that is if he knows why .

He is far better educated than any one but another high profile offender in CA .

Just because one says he is educated does not mean they like him then a few still cannot grasp that very simple concept .

Being in prison for any reason and being educated or intelligent are not mutually exclusive. It is not a good or safe idea to think that prisoners are stupid .

When you want to understand what a killer could bring to kill other people, then view into his soul and you will find a lot of similarities between different cases. It has something to do with psychological behaviour patterns which we all follow.
