Default Re: "A Saint on Death Row"

Karla Faye Tucker is a great example.

She while under the influence of hard drugs, commited a heinous murder.
While in prison and clean of drugs, she became for real a changed person. It did not excuse the crime, she never stated it did.

Her being executed took away a great source of rehabilitation for inmates inside of lesser offenses who would be out on the streets again someday.

The following thru with the execution, the state had killed a totally different person. One who was doing real rehabilitation from insde for others. The years she could have spent turning neg to postives was lost due to her really being who she was now, while inside.

Again as most crimes, hard drugs were involved. Drugs are killing to many people directly or by proxy. Drugs and ones who push them should be responsible for all the blood shed.
