Can this woman be found GUILTY before she rides Ol' Sparky? I don't care for child killers either, but I do care about guilt/innocence. Of course it always helps to imagine yourself in that other person's shoes, etc., etc. Try that for a while since you're so judgemental.

Peanut, with all due respect a psychotic personality is a 24/7 condition and without treatment they can be violent. It is rare but does happen. I'm speaking from experience with both conditions so please research what you speak of please before you pontificate.

On the other side a bi polar person swings in ever increasing arcs of happiness and desperation which also rarely causes a psychotic break.

Both can possibly be treated with meds but not all and some bi polars refuse to take meds because they like the high and hate the suppression of emotions. Psychotics also refuse meds for different reasons, dulling of the senses, loss of function in everyday life, unsure what reality is and prefer to be "free".

All I am asking is that anyone who is commenting on a possible mental health issue is informed.

As to the question, if Casey is found guilty then I think she should spend the rest of her life in prison. I am not against the death penalty but I think that LWOP would be harder for her than the Death Penalty and would garner her less attention.

I am against the DP, but agree with your thoughts saphira. For me one of the saddest things about this story, is it is now becoming common. A child looses a life by abuse at the hands of their "care givers."
I just don't understand why you cannot drop a child off on the steps of a Church, Hospital, Police Station, even the closet door to you if you do not want them in your life any more. Why plan to take an innocent life?

Saphira, yes, Bi Polar is a 24/7 condition, but the psychotic side is not 24/7, only episodes at times. Usually if taking meds correctly they do stay stable most days. Yes, they can be dangerous too.

There are different degrees and levels of Bi Polar.

Casey Anthony is not facing the death penalty the State of Florida is not seeking it . She has been charged with first degree murder . That could change depending on evidence , mitigating factors such as mental illness and what goes on before her trial .

She is being judged tried and convicted in the media based on what the prosecution has released .Along with loud mouth blowhards like disbarred disgraced and facing a few libel law suits Nancy (Dis) Grace who sensationalize things is quick to “convict” who ever is arrested with out having all the evidence or facts .. Part of the problem is using peoples misery and suffering as entertainment and poor journalism there should be good journalism .Good journalism does not take facts and expand upon them to the point that they are not longer facts but wild accusations. Good journalism does not make news and take ideas and state them as fact. Good journalism is not drama and not over the top nastiness.

It is very difficult to prove she was the person who looked up any thing unless they can place her at the keyboard on line when those sites where looked at a very difficult thing to to with a computer used by more than one person . Add in Roy Kronk a county meter reader who did not have any reason to even be in that area and had only worked for a few months . Who made four phone calls about a suspicious bag . How did he know a garbage bag would be suspicious ? Three times the area was searched once with cadaver dogs once with a device that would locate things(it is used in many types of searches out side of law enforcement main archaeological ) such as a body nothing was found . It is also know some types of killers do call the cops and resists a crime scene . It is thought to be a way to taunt the cops and also to relive the crime or feel they are superior to the cops . The stop where the body was found is less thn 30 ft from the road some one would have found it . It would be very stupid for some me to just leave a decomposing body near their house if they were intent on getting away with a crime.

It is near impossible for this woman to get a fair trial . What has been released only makes her look irresponsible and psychologically disturbed that does not make her guilty of anything. It does taint any jury pool though what planet can she get a fair trial on ?

People suffering from Bi Polar disorder can have psychotic breaks ,engage in very risky behavior and have all kinds of delusions . They often act in strange unpredictable ways and do things that are irrational . This could explain Casey Anthony's behavior .No one is excusing her but explain why things might have happened .

I am not surprised at the man who found the dead baby getting a lawyer.

It could easily make sense to be able to sleep better at night and be more relaxed during the day knowing there would be no funny business from the authorities thanks to consul.

If the women whose baby is dead was on scrips, who knows what could have happened?

While no doubt many people on scrips for mental conditions are able to function much better with them, then without; many have adverse reactions down the road. The scrips themselves can be toxic for some people.

It is no doubt amazing what people such as meter readers see and find.

Hiking in a park or recreational area is a high status fun thing to do. I hike also in urban areas, or sometimes ride an old bike without special bike riders gear. Few people walk or ride a bike in urban areas so they see very little.

Maybe the man became scared when he found the baby and the cops did not? Maybe the cops did not have enough hours to comb the area well enough, and did not expect to find anything?

The meter reader Kronk was at work for the county and did not have any reason to be in that area at all . On any occasion at all . Yes it is a good idea to retain counsel but it probably because he is a suspect though that is not made public he story just does not add up . Not a chance something that large was missed three times before and cadaver dogs missed it . It is less than 30 ft from the road . How did he know it was “suspicious” ? Why on the fourth time was a skull found and the bag opened .

Had it been animals then they would have gotten it apart very soon after it got there. It contents would be all over the place in a very wide area if not in some critters stomach and "deposited" elsewhere . His story is just not adding up or even logical if one thinks about it . It certainly helps the defense in this case he will be a suspect in her trial I would bet the defense ,a top notch one BTW will be all over him and is investigating him now . Maybe the cops are too? .

We have coyotes , Bears Fox Mt Lions and other critters who would be all over that in a heart beat where I live granted it is a very rural Mt Valley . I know that part of FL has both coyotes and raccoons that would rip into a bag that smelled like food and make big mess with in hours if that , of it being placed there . Not a chance it would remain intact and hold anything for 6 months . I think he has become a suspect in a very big way .

It is a theory in forensic psychology that many serial killers and sex offenders will both become involved in a search for victims even calling the cops with “leads “ to throw them or just to show how they can go undetected and taunt the cops . It is part of their delusional / psychopathy. It makes them feel more invincible and superior .

It is not clear if she was on prescription meds or not .If she was and was mixing them with a lot of alcohol and drugs such as MNDA AKA Ecstasy , Cocaine or “designer drugs who knows what kind of reaction she would have . If she was just using some of those drugs with a sever psych condition that in itself could cause a problem . If her conditions were untreated and severe that could be a problem . We do not know any of this it is all speculation You are right Dallas prescription psych meds might cause a adverse reaction .

Another problem is a lot of amateur “ sleuths” were trying to dig up stuff on her even her Facebook page became suspicious it actually is not at all that bad it does not make her guilty of anything but being a young irresponsible, maybe troubled person at times Same with . some of her Internet chats that the state made public .None of that comes close to making her guilty .It does make people not like her even n though in their youth they might have done the same things .

If animals have been moving the remains around there will be teeth marks on the bones I doubt that will be released . All we are hearing is what the prosecution and the media are showing or releasing not anything else . At onetime a less than decent news channel had a web cam aimed at her families hours that is way pout of bounds . There were small “riots” on her families property after Nancy (Dis) Grace had made outrageous statements .

The media has done a terrible job as far as this case goes . It is not their job to be a arm of the prosecution . If anything they should be a watchdog for the public to be sure there are not any dirty tricks being played . It does no one any good if the wrong person is convicted .

Keep in mind I am not defending her but being highly critical of the media and the loudmouths and blowhards who are using this case and tragedy to make more money and convict her before she has fair trial if that is possible .
