Texas executes the most people Virginia used to follow TX but not any more . My guess is Alabama then Oklahoma and or Ohio this year . .
FL andCA have large DR populations CAs being the a largest with over 600 .TX has at least 340 on DR , Fl has 391 but only two active death warrants TX currently has 10 though that is expected to grow .

While this is not good and a embarrassment to the US it is noting compared to what goes on in other nations . Where prison conditions are far worse and


US Justice maybe fragmented and in seriouis need of retooling . What passes for justice in other nations that never get criticized is even worse as in no appeals or right to counsel at all.
Yet the DR gruopiesfoucs on the US and do more harm than good .

I noticed they still do not seem to care about the Iraqi woman ! Yet are"shocked" at the "horrible " conditions on Polunsky . It really looks just like any other max security prison built at that time in TX .

I am sure Samar Abduallah if she is still alive is worried about things more serious than paint scratched off cell walls or choosing to wash her cloths in her cell They do get 3 pairs of cloths every week and no you do not have to wash them yourself though many choose to and no they do not need a clothesline in their cell to dry them .Bart is full of Shyt So his gruopies send him store money !

I am willing to bet thy don't get to go to store and buy junk food in Iraqi prison !

Ive been thinking about your question ASE about why "groupies" dont flock and help people on DR in other countrys, do you think it could have anything to do with language? communication might not be as good as with someone that speaks proper english, i dont know but thats all i could come up with, i know the guys in Africa on DR dont even get their own cells, a one/two man cell is shared by many sleeping on the floor, i know you can send care packages to them, toothpaste, soap that kinda stuff,
plus also the guys in other countrys dont have the muscles and tats like you get in the usa, so im guessing it wouldnt be as exciting for some to write a skinny non ripped up guy in africa or bangkok "however you spell it" at the risk of getting my butt chewed off here, but like the U.S justice system isnt about justice most of time its about revenge,
with the "groupies" its not about really helping, its about excitment,

Prison here back in the 50's was nothing like it is now, now you can have opportunity if one takes it. Getting a GED, to a PhD, some prisons bring in the young who are headed for trouble, an inmate speaks to them. One inmate I know does this, it makes him feel he is giving back, and he is big time to the community.

Jon says, even in a max there is opportunity, it is up to the individual inmate what he does with it, or doesn't. Guards normally if you mind your own business, do not go out of their way to be vengful just for the heck of it.
Cut backs are being made yet so are many cut backs when things get tight on the outside for folks too.


I would write a skinny ripped up guy in Africa or anywhere if the language barrier was not a problem, or not being allowed mail as inmates are in the US.
Sure these other countrys too would not allow phone calls, schooling, junk food and library.....
