Pro or anti to keep a fair balance, should show the victims who were heinously torchered then killed. Since both sides of a very serious issue of this, play on emotions. Not a test dummy or a pig. Beware Graphic.

I have seen that whole documentary on tv guess one year ago.
But I think it wont change anything,maybe some will think different if you see it for real not on tv.

The links are regarding the electric chair, gas chamber and hanging. Today it is the LI, and some states that have the DP allow the inmate a choice of method. The electric chair or the LI, inmates choose the LI.

I believe people need to be EDUCATED to understand and i am sure most people in society do not care how a person dies when being executed for crimes committed, especially those having carried out heinous acts on another. Just like many do not care to know how prisoners live or are treated thinking....... "they did the crime they should do the time" ......attitude, believing many deserve to be raped and passed around, sold or treated unfairly and give them minimal mail, little recreation and no contact as we have heard others speak here on the forum how some should be treated. I hear it and see it most days from many sources, so i have an understanding.

Why would it make a difference how their victims die? You have the same outcome, a life is tragically lost because of the actions of another, a family is without a loved one. Taking away all those layers what do you have? A society that say's killing is forbidden, so even Doctors and Nurses do not preform the act of the Death Penalty. Doesn't that speak for itself as to the moral questions of life and death by another's hands? To me the DP isn't about safety, nor money as we know people can be inhumanly caged, nor is it about cost because we also know it costs much more to execute than keep a person alive for the rest of their days, this is nothing more than revenge, pay back for a life lost creating MORE victims. You only need to see the media circus when an execution is carried out to see that as we have in the past few days sadly.

DR's and nurses may or may not agree with the DP, has nothing to do with the laws or morals. It is a code of ethics part of their career in regards to medical care and life saving for health related injured or harmed, illness or near death.

Why would it make a difference how their victims die??? You have the same outcome?

I understand the code of ethics, we are here to preserve life. What i was trying to explain is even as a society we advocate killing is unacceptable in many forms; The Hippocratic oath being one and as a society we try to disassociate ourselves from those having murdered many times, calling them monsters, evil etc believing they are somehow different from us..........

I can see where the medical field has to disassociate as far as their work, they have a code due too their field. Although many DR's and nurses are still human too, and call murderers monsters in personal lives and are tired of the bodies from crimes also to innocents. They do not disassociate there.

Society will always not like,but advocate killing in circumstances, DP, abortion, now the assisted suicide, wars declared, always be part of life. To believe in even one of the above,is advocating killing.
