Question Way off topic...

I am a good cook but cant for the life of me cook a turkey that is not dry. I have cooked them slow, fast, deep fried and even smoked them.
Does anyone have a guaranteed way to cook a bird so its moist and tender?
Was going to have one catered in but aparently I am too late to order one. Who knew so many people could not cook birds.

Robert

Got to stuff the bird. Love oyster stuffing. Usually have left over so I cook a side pan as well.

I always cook mine in a crock pot. It sounds weird, but the turkey literally falls apart in your mouth!

Robert, maybe I need to come to your house for Thanksgiving then!

My husband always cooks the turkey here. The family pretty much unanimously decided that I wasn't allowed near the turkey any more. I LIKE my turkey somewhat dry (it was how I ate it for years growing up) and that's how I cook it. Every year my poor spouse shakes his head as I complain that the turkey is too juicy and microwave my portion to dry it out. Only me, I guess! lol.
