A Vent

Ok, not everything can be positive so, I want to state I am so glad this summer is behind us. This has been the summer from hades.

Summer of Hurricanes Ike, summer I sprained my ankle and now understand how frustrating it is to have to use a mobile for a week to get around,mine thank goodness was only temporary, not a permanent condition.

This past Sunday, I was assualted, and wrestled to the ground, but this is Texas, so those who were armed, came to my resue until the police got there and took over. Well, I look a bit battered but, hey, I won and he lost thanks to many good people.

The hurricane brought out the best in people also, when the clean up began so, heck guess this summer was tough, but really not so bad after all.

Holy Mackeral!! That Houston must be a rough town. I'm sorry to hear that you had to experience that, Peanut, but glad that you are OK.
Did this assault occur before or after the hurricane? My former PP's daughter lives in Beaumont, and she told me that after every hurricane, their town fills up with displaced people and the crime rate soars. So, I can imagine that the same thing happens in Houston. Just be carefull. :-)

it happened to this summer. You must have a lot of inner
strength inside to get you through all that.

I am sorry to hear of your drama, I hope you recover menatlly as well! I am too glad fall weather is here I am tired of too much humidity!

No Xray, this was just last Sunday, well after the hurricane.

I never saw it coming, I hit the ground and the fight was on. I got free and took off running, it was odd to see two men with guns pointed, telling me they had me covered. One man took me aside, while the others held the guns on them until police arrived.

I had just got over a sprained ankle then this happened. lol Jon has his hands full. lol
