I just ripped into my mail man and not for me but for all the moms and dads who have sons and daughters serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, they too like us need mail, he walked away with his head bowed down, and quite rightly so as our armed forces cant strike over there hours and working conditions.............. climbing of my soap box now lol

From what i have read, most ( if not all) Federal prisoners, will have access to E-mail by 2011 anyway. So i guess old fashioned paper letters, may just become a thing of the past, and then it won't matter if there are postal strikes.

according to "Twitter" south Yorkshire Fire Dept have agreed to go on strike, that would never happen in NY as they are not allowed to strike

Perhaps we taxpayers could go on strike, especially when it comes time to find the public money to pay M.P's "expenses" or pay C.E.O'S of banks, (that have had to be bailed out with our cash,) their huge bonuses,as it's still happening none of them seem to have learned their lesson.

Our armed forces can't go on strike either. Although i am sure that a lot of soldiers in Afganistan and Iraq wish they could strike , considering the conditions they have to " work" under.

That kind of bites that the postal service is going on strike. For those of you who have pp's here in the states you have the option of sending an email to them via jpay if it is available in their state. They just won't be able to send one back.

I hope they get it together, because mail is important, unless it is a bill.
