I already posted this else where but it seems relative here, too. You can go to Hallmark Cards | Free Ecards, Greeting Cards, Birthday Gifts, Gold Crown Stores, Keepsake Ornaments - Hallmark Cards and order and personalize cards and they will mail them for you. I just don't know if they accept foreign currency.

There are other web sites that you can write an e-mail and they will print it and send it from their closest mail site to the destination. It didn't have anything to do with prisons. I'm sorry I can't think of it. If I find it I will post the link..... Not to negate mazzh. Just to offer more options....

Postful: The Web's Printer
Email to Post | PostalMethods.com

Wild Apricot Blog : Email-to-Snail-Mail Online Postal Services

Well, none of these were the one I was thinking of but here are some options....And hopefully gave some ideas......You could also e-mail to a friend and ask them to print and post it for you...If you didn't mind some one other than the mailroom staff seeing it!

Well, in France - the military cannot get on strike, as air traffic controllers (which is a good thing, no ? come to think of it), as for the transportation system (train, subways..) a minimum service must is mandatory.

ER cannot go on strike.

So, well it's not that bad - but postal service can. But strikes never last more than two or three days. I know about the prisonpaper site, you type your letter and they sent it for you from the US. Good thing for your pps !

But you're right, the day everything goes back to normal - you'll be happy to find a tons of letters in your mailbox !

I dont get my mail till after 1.30pm most days, I got a letter from Hubby today which was posted after the one that has gone missing.
Im kinda looking forward to the postal strike, means i dont have to feel bad about not writing, we say it all on the phone anyway.

As if the strikes arn't bad enough,it's also the amount of time it will take to deal with the backlog of mail that will be piling up while the strike goes on.

It's estimated the Post office deals with approx 1.4 MILLION items of mail every day. So imagine the problem if the strike goes on for any amount of time.
