| I love Asian food. There was a place out in California where I used to live called "Tommy's Wok" and it was just the best Chinese i had ever had. Im not sure how they did it but it was not greasy at all. Vietnamese and Thai is also yummy.....and Sushi...dont even get me started lol Korean is also good but tends to be heavier as they have a lot of barbeque specialties.

| Mmm, Chinese food. Now, there is one of my weaknesses. Thai is also wonderful. And I've had Japenese a few times, where they come out to the table and prepare the food right there. Absolutely delicious! I've never tried Vietnamese or Korean, though. And Sushi...? |

| Yep, I went to a Vietnamese place where they brought you the food to the table and some simmering broth on these little hot plates and you dunked the stuff in yourself to make soup. Sushi is good and a lot of people are afraid to try it but it’s not all raw. Some is. If you want to start out slow, order a "California roll". It’s just the rice, crab, cucumber and maybe some carrot or whatever else they tuck in there and then it’s rolled up tight in seaweed paper and sliced in little circles. Its fun to eat and very decorative lol. Some Japanese restaurants have little conveyer belts where they make a bunch of different types of sushi and they come to your plate and you just take off what you want. That’s a good way to sample many kinds.

| The California Roll sounds pretty good, actually. I do like crab and some other types of sea food, but I'm not terribly fond of fish for the most part. I have tried some Sushi before, but I'm not positive of what kind. One of the Japenese restaurants had both the hibochi (sp?) style and Sushi and it had very large booths where you had to usually share with other customers. (It sounds odd but actually was kind of fun...well, my husband hated it, but I thought it was fun). The guy sitting next to me shared a couple of different pieces of his Sushi with me, but I didn't like either of them. That Vietnamese restaurant sounds like something I would probably enjoy, though. |
