Houston is so spread out, I find it funny Merrill that depends on which part of Houston, some get floods and other sections the sun. lol

We are so close to downtown we usually do not get much. WE are jst East of the Houston Heights historical area, north of IH10. I was glad that it was early as I had to drive on the wrong side of street (11th) to get by the waters accumulated. By the time I came through on way home, everything was okay. |

Here South of I-10 and further West of Hwy 6, it just rained for a few minutes was all, and lots of clouds. Even early this morning roads here were clear.

That was one of my favorite spots South IH10 off State Hwy 6, Post office in Addicks still have 1950's stamps, back then 1969, SH6 was just two lanes, and never seemd to flood. |

LOL, no we never flood here, so when family or friends up north, hear of Houston on news for flooding, they do not understand why I am high and dry !!
Shy 6 was only two lanes and no one hardly out this far, traffic then started at I-10 and Gessner when going downtown. Far Westheimer west of Hwy 6 was two lanes, dark as heck, No Bush Park all wild still.

I am in west Texas, the most we ever get is some of the rain out of it. Be our luck we will miss that part too.
