I was writing to C the other day and asked him this:

Is there anywhere you would HATE to go on holiday/vacation??

So I just wondered what everyones idea of a truely aweful holiday would be...

You could place me anywhere and i would find something to smile about, but i'd prefer not to visit the hot desert and be surrounded by nothing but sand and hot winds.

It's not what happens to you, it is how you deal with it that makes a difference. challenges are good, well most of the time that is.

So what is your worst destination Hammond?

Mine would be Skiing - it's cold, and you tend to fall over a lot - wheres the fun in that? ?

Or camping - why sleep outdoors on the floor and have to pee in a bush in the dark?

Camping !!! Are you serious H? that is my favorite thing to do. Give me the bush, a sky on a clear night full of stars, and a camp fire to toast marshmallows over and mate you've won me. Especially if it's near a river so we can fish and take a dip. I love the smell of the bush, especially after rain. Don't mind squattin at all, small price to pay....LOL .
As for the snow i always thought it fun and light, but it's real wet and solid when you take a couple of falls trying to learn to ski.

Worst vacation for me was a group of co workers locked into a trailer waiting for the weather to let up which never did, to go rafting on the river. Got stuffy and boring. Even if just a visit, hate being locked up inside only.

I think my worst holiday would have to be the activity kind, only because i would have to join in and then because of the illness i have i would then be laid up in bed for days after and would hate it that i'm missing all the fun
