| Ferguson says he poses no threat to children in the general community, but would consider chemical castration if it's deemed safe and effective. In an interview with the ABC's Four Corners program, to be aired tonight, Mr Ferguson said people who are sexually attracted to children, over time lose interest in them. "Myself? Children don't bother me,'' Mr Ferguson said. "I'm no longer interested.'' The 61-year-old completed a 14-year sentence for sexually assaulting three children aged six, seven and eight in a Brisbane motel in 1987. He is not required to wear an electronic anklet to monitor his every move. "Why should I?'' he said. However, he did not rule out chemical castration if it would not harm him and prove to make a difference. "Chemical castration, right, is something that is not an easy thing to go into ...,'' Mr Ferguson said. "There are all sorts of issues that have to be canvassed ...''
