For me the people who sell that fur, are the same guilty! They give the order to kill. Why will people buy this fur? And stimulate this cruelty? This makes me so angry!

I think in many cultures around the world, dogs and cats are not held in the same regard as they are in Europe or the US. They are seen as meat and not as pets. Of course that does not excuse the brutal treatment of ANY animal, but it is a different mind set and culture. Another way to understand this is to look at the the cow. In the US and probably Europe as well it is viewed primarily as a dairy and meat producing animal. Not so in India. The cow is held in the highest esteem. Here is a description of the cow from the Hindu standpoint.

"Indian scriptures tell us that the cow is a gift of the gods to the human race. It is a celestial being born of the churning of the cosmic ocean. Guias the cow is called in Hindi, is symbolic of Earth itself (similar to Gaia,the Greek goddess of earth)."

So based on the culture, animals can take on different roles and representations.

I would ask them: How can you do such things? Enjoy the money you make with it? Watch to yourself in the mirror? Can you have good nightrests?

I have heard where animal rights groups have formed, "all over the world", on the treatment of these loved furry ones rights. It worked with the use of real fur coats back sometime ago too.

I will sign this also !! Many animal lovers on this forum as well as writing inmates. lol
