The last thing I read about the Madeline McCann case was a week ago in the Sun saying that Kate had days where she gives up hope, and doubts Madeline will ever be found.

I'll hold my actual views on it all off for fear of starting a heated debate.

Just noticed an advert on channel 4 for a documentary tomorrow night I think talking to the Mcann's about the case ect

Well now you have me curious as to what your views are. Do you think the parents did it?

Hi, basically the poor baby is still missing. Her parentshave employed an agprogression specialist to make a picture of how she looks now as she would have changed quite a lot in the past two years. They seem to be attempting to re launch their find madeleine campaign and bring the story back into the limelight again and have people keeping their eyes peeled. This is probably a good time to be doing this as it is coming up to the summer holidays here in ireland and also in the uk and people will be heading off around europe on holidays. Its great to see the story is still so topical around the world but what i dont understand is why there isnt a campaign like this EVERY time a child goes missing.

I don't know to be honest. But there is just something there, something I can't put my finger on, that tells me there is more to this story than meets the eye.
One part thinks, "well why would they do that to thier own child and then keep the publicity up? Maybe because if they stop suspicions will arise again?" and the other part thinks "No, they couldn't possibly have, the evidence would have been there"

I'm not the only person who is of this opinion, there is someting very strange about it all.

But in the end it all comes down to there is a young girl missing or (god forbid) dead and where ever she is, I just hope that she is safe and out of harms way, because the alternative (whether we like to acknowledge it or not) is grim.

Its all rather odd. When my son was young I would not even take a shower till my husband or my sons mother was in the house. My son is the same way with my grandchild. Can't imagine leaving a child alone while I went to eat. Something is strange. UKgal and I had a great pm on this issue. They even offered babysittting services at the hotel. I could not live with myself if something like that happened to me.
