| She's dead. If she was abducted, it was because she was blond and blue eyed and that's the appearance characteristics most desirable in an offspring over there. Anyone who abducted her, either because they wanted to keep her for their own family or if she was sold into some kind of child trafficking racket, soon found out that they had very hot property on their hands. So they will have needed to get rid of her. No one wants to be connected to the world's most recognizable child. And if it was the parents, it was probably an accident or something they were at fault for which led to her demise and they've had to dispose of her remains. So either way she's dead. I know that sounds harsh, but skirting around the issue is pointless. As is giving money to a fund that is pointless. And yes, it's really annoying that not every missing child gets this level of media attention and exposure; but they I guess not every kid that goes missing is the blond haired, blue eyed, pretty white offspring of two middle class people in the medical profession.

| I feel bad that i/people have given up on her. Ive been thinking about her alot lately since talking to showyourpride and watching the docu the other night, like people have said MOST cases are found dead, but also in most cases they have found the body by now, or if not the body the killer, until we find a body theres hope that she might just be one of the rare cases.

| Well my personal views are similar to PatsyDahling's. I really don't like the parents and have always felt that there was something there you couldn't quite put your finger on. But that aside, I've been sickened from by the parents from the very start. The hotel offered free childcare, the strongest word there being free, why didn't they use it?They claimed they could see the enterance to their apartment from where they were eating but that was proven not to be true. As a person, I'm a mixture of Marxism and Functionalism, and the Functionalist in me see's two parents, who while they may or may not have played a part in their daughter's death/dissaperance, did commit gross negligence by leaving their children alone and unprotected with an unlocked door. We all know the world is not a safe place and there are people out there who will abduct/hurt/kill children. When faced with one of them staying in and looking after their children, or both of them going out with friends, they chose to put their children at risk by both going. They took a pointless and unneeded risk and as a result they payed the consequences. When there are so many good couples out there who can't have children for whatever reason, it sickens me to see parents like them who think it's fine to just leave their children alone, unguarded, unprotected, and with an all but open door. Now under no circumstances do I believe that people should be allowed to abduct children, but honestly, when you play with fire, you get burnt. In my opinion, the Mcann's played with fire.

| Not to forget that also has a very unique eye with the iris that leaked a little, so even if her hair was dyed the eye makes her very quickly recognizable. Sadly I have to agree with Bex, I can't really see her being one of those rare cases, as much as I would love to
