If it wasn't a hate crime he committed this would be a jubilant post, titled ''justice at last''
If this was a black on white crime, would it even be mentioned. Are we all so politically correct that we become two faced. |
Let me start by saying that I have never been politically correct about anything

(hope that made some people smile)
i would not say "two-faced" simply because it just goes to name-calling and that leads to what?
A jubilant post? No way should this post ever be considered "jubilant" regardless of what happens to this man. It would not bring back the deaths he committed.
The families that he hurt have to deal with their lost in their way. Nothing you say or do is gong to bring back their family members. Nothing.
Once one KKK is gone there is another to take his place. It has to be stopped someplace, some how so that these conversations won't need to take place.
Yes, he and his family will now have to pay their own bills but he is still "free." Paying his own bills or the state paying for it, that's just another subject all together.
The main subject is whether or not he should have been freed. No. He should serve the amount of time the courts decided was necessary for the crime. Unfortunately, as a lot of us blacks know already, the system is as flawed as the rest of the world. Sad but true.
What are we going to do about it besides (and after) being angry? Being disappointed?
Sure, be angry! That's a great start. Then what? How long has this been happening and why? Who's going to stop it and how?
If I stayed angry at all of the things that happen to us African Americans for so very many years, I would never, ever be happy about one damn thing!
That is a terrible way for me to live my life.
The man deserves punishment. "ANY" type of killing is wrong.
Pray for a better world and pray for one another. At the same time, stand up for what you believe in and stick together to accomplish what is needed to put an end to this type of "so-called justice". It's about time, and long over due.
This man has hopefully a lot of demons in his own head to deal with. I want to believe that. But who knows, maybe he just doesn't really give a damn. Sad, but sometimes true.
Be Blessed!
