For some reason I am extremely drawn to this story. I have not been able to stop thinking about it since I first read the tragic and confusing details of this missing child. Casey's disregard for Caylee's welfare and the grandmother's over-zealous defense of her daughter, along with the multitude of inconsistencies is mind-boggling. I just want someone to come out and say it:

WHAT HAPPENED TO CAYLEE?!

Unlike most of what I have read in forums and online, I believe Caylee is alive. I don't think they/the mom killed her. I think Casey was strung out on something and possibly sold her, or simply "lost" her in the midst of being high and stupid. I just feel in my heart that the little girl is alive, and that Casey is hiding something huge that could help find her.

Hearing the video taped conversation of Casey talking to her family and friends from jail is what convinced me of this.

Anyone else moved by this story? I pray that the little girl shows up soon.

I know this forum is based upon inmates.

I know current events are not the primary focus.

Nevertheless, I can not understand why no one else has one word to say about Caylee Anthony being missing. Seems weird.

Seems there is a spin on everything today, even over something as serious as a missing little girl or more who knows?. Sad how crazy this world has become.

They should all sit in jail until someone speaks up and the head games end I think!!!

I just see this tread Parklane, and read the case. I didnt hear about this case before. A missing child always makes me feel sad.

The last week there is alot here on the news about Maddie mac cahn, who is missing now for over a year. Some people claim in Holland and Belgium they see her! And recently last monday!

I will pray for them both, and i hope there comes a day we know what happend, and the little girls come home safe!

Oh god yes Ive been watching this the mother Casey seems like she isn't wired right its lie upon lie upon lie ,the grandmother i know wants to protect her daughter and is in deep denial but she just sounds ridiculous she believes everything Casey says ! if one of my grandchildren were missing for that long i don't think I'd have any trust in my child anymore she didn't go to the police it took a frantic call from the grandmother to get the ball rolling i really hate to say it but i truly believe she is responsible for that little girls death not by her own hand but i believe neglect like leaving her in the car or something
this thing stinks of Susan smith .with the accusation that someone else the supposed nanny having the child .how does someone with no money afford a nanny ? then she's out at the clubs 5 days after the child goes missing ? i'm wondering what the d.n.a testing came up with on those hair strands and the soil mark in the trunk of the car !also i believe they took some gas cans as well the neighbor said casey barrowed a shovel for about an hour .the grandfather being an ex cop wouldnt you think daughter or no daughter they would ask him to try to get her to tell him something? im also wondering where caylee's father and his parents are during all this .

I wonder the same things as you. Relatively speaking, I have older children (11-17) and I know that if it were MY grandkid, I would have stopped believing and supporting my daughter AGES ago.

Even with the shovel and "dead animal" reports....I still think the little girl is alive. Maybe I am fooling myself with wishful thinking, but to be honest, the mom doesn't seem like a killer. Just a loser.

To me, it's obvious drugs or some other criminal behavior is behind it all. I try to keep up on this story daily. I am still mesmerized by it.

its also interesting about the so called nanny and the apartment she looked at im wondering if this wasnt casey pretending to be this women .I think that the anthonys should stop talking to the press the storys just get more and more twisted im also wondering why casey asked for amunity .I hope your right i hope she is still

now that he's outside prowling i can continue the only thing that really bothers me is that seem to be looking for a body rather then the child sweeping ponds looking in woods etc ...whats your take on it parklane?

this counts for me too i didn't know this case i'm sorry to hear another kid is missing.
