I read about her the other day, might sound harsh but i dont have any sympathy for her at all,
she would of known the laws and how bad the prisons are she cant start whining now just because she got caught this time. just feel sorry for the baby what a great start it has :-((

every one knows the laws in thailand regarding drugs obviously her greed for money outweighed the life of her unborn child, if she beats not being executed social services should step in and take care of the child otherwise we could be reading about another baby P

she prob wont get the death sentence carried out even if she did get it, our gov fight hard in cases like this but she will prob be on her own if a lesser sentence is given.
im not wanting death at all, i just get a little fed up with these storys its time for the whining to stop when they get caught knowing the Gov will step in. all our gov is teaching people like this is that its ok to disrespect other peoples laws we will come get you if your caught.

I have no sympathy with this woman. Ive been to these countries and there are signs as big as barn doors warning of the consequences of smuggling drugs. They even have bins at the airport to dump your illicit drugs should you be stupid enough to ignore the signs.
So if you ignore these two you deserve everything you get.

I'm with you on this one. Whether you are for or against it, the fact remains that this is how the crime is punished in certain countries and just because she is British doesn't mean that British rules can apply to her. What about all the other women in this situation that we don't hear about?
I can't see them excueting her when she is pregnant.

I have no more complaint's about our system now, nor our DP. The laws are there, if one ignores them.

If she's five months pregnant and has been in custody for nine months.....Am I doing the maths here wrong or something?

As for sympaty for her.....She knew the laws, she knew the price she would pay for committing the crime. However saying that, we don't know all the ins and outs. Was she doing it for an abusive partner, is it the only way of life she's known ect? Whatever the case I certainly don't believe she deserves to die for the crime she's commited.
