Chinese officials have ordered an all-out effort to save babies made ill by contaminated milk products. A cabinet statement said all affected children should get free check-ups and treatment and called for more screening in remote areas, state media reported.

Maybe they are working thier way up from poisoning our cats and dogs a few years ago?

Many food products from China now go to Europe and North America?

I wonder if they were ever punished for the suffering of pets here and grief of the owners?

The recall also of lead in paint,of childrens toys, in the US made in China. China's problems with lead in consumer products goes far beyond the tainted toys also.

Not surprised on the milk problem now.

The USA had some of the best consumer protection laws on the planet at one time.
Now gutted and largely gone.

Quite alot of the food products from China in North America and elsewhere are "Repackaged"
to make it difficult or impossible to find out where they really are from.
