A little about me ... Well I am a 24 year old white female. I Live in New York and have lived here my whole life.(I Live about 45 min south of Albany) I graduated highschool in 1998 and am currently working as a Resedential Counselor for Developmentally Disabled Children. I have worked at my current job for 4 years and plan on starting going back to school in the very near future. I am a an independant kinda girl, i have no kids , I live by myself and i take care of the bills by myself. I have 3 cats and 1 fish. (I love animals!) When im not at work i enjoy going to the movies, listening to music, shopping, sports, hanging out with friends, and traveling.

Well, I am fairly new here and had my first reply to my first letters sent out of the 3 only one very nice response. I am 45 yrs old and am on an leave out of the working race I have always been in due to a situation that happened to me which I am not emotionaly ready to talk about and writing an imate may give me some closure to my happening without bring this up to the inmate. One son and a widow for sometime now. Learning forgiveness.

I'm Tina, 23-years-old (shut-up smilez! :-P), and as the handle suggests, I write novels for a living. Some call me a smut writer but I prefer the term "adult romantic fiction for women". (Hey, it's a living.) I also write suspenses but nobody ever seems interested in hearing about that, at least not off the shelf. At parties it's always "so tell me about those racy novels you write" lol! :-) I've hit best-seller status several times, but not yet the NY Times (that's my goal...when I reach it you'll hear multiple screams vibrating off the board). Uh let's see, what else? I'm engaged to a lifer, marrying him this year, have 2 kids, and that's about it. Oh and I'm 32, not 23 <sigh>

Hi Guys, I've been lurking around the Board for about a year, and replied to one topic, but the thread died down after my reply...hope it's not a sign of things to come! I only write to one PPP, whom i met thru another site three years ago. We hit it off right away, but started out cautiously, became dear, dear friends, freely exchanged "I love you as a friend" type I love yous, and around Christmas finally admitted that we were in love as well as loving each other every other way possible. This is pretty much a first for both of us: being true friends first, and then falling in love, and we're enjoying the process. Problem is: he's on Death Row (in Florida) and has been for 13 years. He had a CLEAN criminal record before this - never arrested for anything before... I'm going down there to see him for the first time in April -we're both pretty goofy about it. Can certainly relate to Tex! Anyway, I'm 47, a lawyer (don't do criminal work (used to, and everything Law Dog says makes a great deal of sense to me), live in WV. Never married, no kids except for a very spoiled dog. Write to my honey every day. He has no phone access at ALL. I've grown to be very fond of you guys - you all are very sincere about what you're doing, and that's certainly the spirit to do it in. I love this message board and this topic, and hope I don't kill it with my entry! Thanks, Mary, who can hot and icy cold...

Hello everyone. I've done this before, but since the old thread is gone, I had better do it again. I love this big happy family here and hope that everyone joins in. My name is Dave, I am 56 years old and I'm semi retired after working for 36 years, in highway construction, for the State of Michigan. I now work in the summer, for a private engineering firm, which gives me my winters off to do what I enjoy best and that is getting away from the snow and cold in Michigan. I am spending this winter in Florida, but hope to visit all the rest of the country in coming years.
I have been contributing to and enjoying this website since this past August. I write to a lady, in Texas, who is my own age and whom I hope to support and make happy (in a PP sense) for as long as it takes.
I might also mention that I have been married, to the same woman, for 35 years and we have two married daughters, with 5 young grandchildren. So, between grandchildren, writing and relaxing, I am as busy as I care to be.
I look forward to hearing from the rest of you. :-)

hmmm, who said ~vibrate~..ohhh, of course that was novel *grins* :P I am 39 (so i've yet to update my profile since october). I have worked for the state of ohio for 16 years, transferred from the Ohio House of Reps to the Dept. of Natural Resources- Div.of Waterway safety search & rescue - I have one wonderful son, he is 16, a sophmore in HS. I discovered WAP in sept. of 2002--i have a special local pal due to be released in a matter of weeks *smiles* -- And from the christmas card campaign have connected with a couple more very special and wonderful Pals -- they are all very special to me in their own way! xoxoxo

OK here we go again.... first off for all new people... welcome to WAP
OK~~~ I am 33 years old, a single Mom of a wonderful 14 year old daughter. I am a mortgage broker (yes one of them people) I currently live with my sister so I can be closer to my Mom who is fighting breast cancer, and recovering from a horrible car accident which almost took her life! She has had a rough 3 years! I will be moving back to the suberbs in the next couple months. Cant wait these boonies drive me nuts!
I am engaged to a man I met on WAP who is serving 27 years, I wont brag to much about him, but he is wonderful!!! Had to atleast brag once!
I mostly write to inmates on death row and treasure all of my pals!!!
Well..... enough about me! I will say I love all the support we have for eachother here!!! I think I would go nuts if I didnt have this site!!!
