hello and welcome to all the new people here..i am 36 and work in the food industry..i have have one pen pal at the time , he is my fiance who i met through a different site..after my 16 year old sons suicide on 12/27/04 i am slowly getting back into life so to speak..to all the new people theres some really great people here on this site..

Hi Everyone! My name is Diana and i live in New Mexico where i am a phlebotomist for the blood bank here. I am 20-years-old with no children but one terribly spoiled cat named Missy. I live with my roommate Jennifer in Roswell New Mexico alien capital of the world. I started writing prison penpals in August of 2003 and now i have experienced more joy from it than i ever imagined i would. Not only have i met really great guys that have become good friends, but i have also met my best-friend and boyfriend Chad. I did meet him on this site but it was through an awesome man on the site and in which im forever greatful.(You know who you are!) I would just like to say that im so happy that i started writing my penpals and it is something i plan on doing as long as there are good men in prison and i know there will be. ---Diana

Hi all! my name is lisa. im a 35 year old black female. im new to the board as well. i liked it so much i registered and been here ever since. This is the first site i ever visited at first and almost all my pen-pals are from this site. I have at least 9 from this board, a penpals cellie writes, and i write a friends brother. I am a single mother of 4, 3 boys and 1 girl.
After a long and crazy relationship ended ive been single for five years. I began writing to pps to build some connections with people because much of my day to day life revolves around kids and home. I did it to befriend, brighten, and bring hope to inmates. it has thus far worked both ways. I immediately fell in love with one special man whos been in now for 9years, he goes up for parole in december04. We love each other and hell come here to live with me if he gets po'ed. The rest of my penpals have brung me so much i cant really exlplain but they are all my friends reguardless of what they have done or what others may think. I love joseph but each and everyone of them have special meaning to me. My life was simply day to day. Cooking, cleaning,kids,school,etc...Now it is so much more. Its wonderful and overwhelming to me. Other than that if you arent bored to tears, I love music, movies, reading and spending time at home with my kids. I dont make friends we'll at all and thi board and my penpals have become like a new part of my life....

Well were do i start i still dont know even after reading about all you interisting people. I want to start by saying that this is a very special grouple i juat happen to stumble upon and never left I guess you can say I am trying tomake my selfl apart of this special wap family. well here it goes My name is katie everybody calls me kay for short. I really dont have a pp my husban for wich i married two months befor his sentence right out of high school is my pp and my bestfriend..Well thats him I am 23 with no kids and two brothers for which are both openly gay and have some pp that they write to and go see. I am always looking for more pp to get them to write to. Our whole house cant wait for the mail man to visit (almost like a three year old waiting for christmas). I have so many things to say but dont want to talk your ear off. I am presently looking for a female pen pal to write to so if anyone has any ideas or want to chat late night I am always ready to drop a line to a open ear..Thats a little about me .....

Hey Everyone, this is Sunfire. I am relatively new to WAP. I am writing to 2 pp, and they seem very sincere. Anyway, I am a computer programmer by day, writer by night. I am currently in graduate school, working on my Masters in Comp Engineering/Programming. I am originally from Bordeaux, France, and I have family over there. All you guys here are great, and the moderators are super. Thanks for a good job. I am just wondering what all the fiasco was concerning the removal of the "who do you write to" list. Hello all....I used to post here a while ago but stopped b/c of computer problems, which have since been fixed thank goodness... I am a single mother of an 8 year old boy and am currently living with my mother helping to take care of her after a stroke. Sometimes i feel my work is never done. In 2000 my cousin got sentenced to 6 years and i started writing to him all the time and we became really close. It was then that i realized how much getting letters from people really means. I just started writing to prisoners two years ago. I used to write to 11 people but most of them have since abandoned me by finding their true loves or what have ya.... I currently have 3 pen pals not including my cousin. One of them has become very special to me. I love him dearly but know we can never physically be together, if that makes sense to anyone?!? Hello All. My name is David aka Kyle. I am 38 y/o and finishing up my bachelors degree in Psychology. I do a lot of counseling on the side, dealing with all kinds of situations. I have learned more from the real world then any book could ever teach. As stated before I never knew about the message board or the chat room, and I have been writing to a pp since August. I found him on this site. He has been incredibly honest with me. I believe that I am going to see him at the end of March, when I go to my best friend's wedding in Key West. Most of all I enjoy reading about all your lives and the people you have touched. Keep up the good work; I hope it comes back to y'all 10 fold. d
