Hey I'm Karl, from Canada, originally from Poland. Thus far I have no idea what I'm doing on this site, but I'm sure I will find a way to help someone some how eventually. Regardless, I will browse around here a few times a week and try to advise people on issues perhaps? we will see how it goes.

Oh yes maybe a bit more about me.....I'm 27, from Calgary Alberta Canada. Own a small welding shop here in town and hope to return to Europe one day. I'm into Rally racing locally, soccer, tennis, badminton and Hap ki do. Hmmmmm anyways, hope to get to know most of you as the years pass by. Take care !

Hi Karl . . Yeah . . check out the inmate profiles and see if there is anyone that you would care to write to. People, in prison, are always looking for a breezy kind of guy to talk to, and with your coming from Canada, Poland, etc, I'm sure that they would find you very interesting.

So I did look at the profiles and did find someone interenting, I wrote them through that email thing. Welcome - from one newbie to another!

I did some research to find someone to write to - my penpal was across a few sites and the cumulative picture looked good. He's quite literary and included some quotes that I enjoyed, so I decided to pick up the pen!

I totally echo what Xray48 said, it sounds like you've travelled a great deal and so would have some great experiences to share with a penpal - I hope that you get a great response from your initial contact.

Good luck! My ex-boss was Polish, from Warsaw, but I am ashamed to say that my own Polish is limited - although I do know the words for coffee and cigarette, so he taught me something!
