Hi,
I saw an article in the news about this site and checked it out. I wrote 10 people on this site from different states. I did not know if my letters would get through or if I would get a reply. Imagine my surprise 8 days after I mailed the letters receiving 10 replies.

Many asked for pictures although I primarily do not have any pics other than digital do they allow printed pictures on paper or do I need to have them on photo paper?

Any other helpful tips from anyone longer than me?

you can send printed pictures if you want too it's much cheaper when you got a lot palls.

Welcome to WAP! Congrats on all the replies! As far as the pictures, I download my pictures from my digital camera and then upload them to a store and make prints. You can do this through Walmart, Walgreens, Costco etc. The prints are usually less than 15 cents a copy.

Only Florida rejected pictures on bond paper, I just use photo paper now that I have a printer at home.

About the pictures, I have no clue -- yet. I just got here but will not

Guess you already have the answer about the pictures...

I ordered some from Walmart.com the other day and sent them to them directly. I hope they get them it was mostly pictures of me in the snow shoveling and how wonderful winter is LOL...

Many have also sent me pictures which I did not know they could get pictures? I do find that there is a delay with mail in some states, it seems for the most part it takes 2-3 days for me to get replies from the post mark on the letter. However I guess the letters are read as their replies come with dates of 7-10 days after I mailed the letter to them. Oh well just have to get used to the snail mail as opposed to email etc.

yep some Units already have an acces so they are able to send emails not just a letter.
