Today I sent a e-mail to my PP,that I want to write with him.
I saw his profile on you're site.
What will they do with that e-mail and how long will it take to reach him?
My pp is on dr in Texas.

they send the emailed letters out twice a month, i know the 20th and maybe the 4th. they will mail it to your pen pal and it will take a few days to get there and get through the mail room. after that your pen pal will write you back directly. not sure how long overseas mail is because i'm in the states.

i don't know i've we can have a friendship,merely because of the fact our situations are so un equal.
I am living in the free world,and he is waiting for death in a really hellish place.
I just want him to know somebody else is thinking of him.

Goed van je dat je iemand hebt besloten te schrijven! Ik had op 1 juli ook een gevangene geschreven die ook in Texas vast zit. Alleen helaas voor mij heb ik nooit een antwoord gekregen Ik heb uiteindelijk een maand gewacht en heb besloten om hem een brief te sturen, dan weet je zeker dat ie aankomt.. Ik hoop voor jou dat je een brief terugkrijgt!

Ik heb nog geen brief gestuurd,maar een e-mail met de vraaag of hij wel wilde schrijven.
Ik heb begrepen dat ze de 4e en de 20e die mails geven.

But I have a pp on dr in San Quentin for 3 years now and we have a great friendship, if I go away for a day I'll make pictures for him, send cards ect ect.
He's always I'm his eyes and ears out here.
It's possible to build up a friendship even if 1 is in there and the other in the free world, remember: you don't need anything or anyone to start a friendship accept two persons.
