problems with phonecall to holland

Hello I am new at this forum and I have a question.
I write with a man in a Michigan prison he wants to phone me but I live in Holland. Can someone explain me if it is possible.Somebody told me that we could try with packet8.

I guess so, im from Holland too. When he add you on the phone list, dont forget the countrycode is 01131, instead of 0031

Pennylane, thanks for your answer. I don't think the problem is to get my on his phonelist but i think it's more about the phonebill. i will look on the site you mentioned and see if i it can help me.

I send a mail to CBS and received an answer very soon. They told me that they don't offer international services.
Is there somebody who can help me.There must be more prisoners who call to people from another country.I would like to know how they solved this problem.

Yes, i can call with my bf, but it took along time to set it up. But now he even can reach me on a cell phone. Sorry, i dont know anything about MN.

My man is in Illinois and we've tryed to make this work too but the problem is that they can't bill us overseas and they don't have International Services,meaning they don't work with accounts to pay in advance.

And did you solve it now or is he still not able to call you?

I keep bugging the phonecompany but he's still not able to call me......

That's so frustrating honni. For us it took almost half a year to set it up. Really! But now it works perfect. We can call, he even can reach me on my cellphone. And the rates are high, but acceptable, 18 USD for half an hour. We choose a couple of short calls a week now, instead of one long one.
Doesnt that company have a inmate prepaid account?
