Yes, im sure lots more people. What is the exact problem? First make sure you use the countrycode 01131. Not 0131. Mostly phonecompany's have two ways to put money on a account. An account for your number, dont use this option, it doesnt works overseas. When there is an option inmate debit account, use this one. Im not sure this is the same for every state, this was how it works for us. If you have more questions let me know, and i hope i can help.

Hi Pennylane,
The problem is that he can't call to Holland. Collect call is possible but only in the usa.He can call in his debit if is is to a number in the USA.
We need a phonenumber in the usa that he can call and that can be forwarded to my phone.

I had this before too. They (the phonecompany) tell me the same. He just put my number on the list again, and for some reason once it works, on my cellphone.
Did you think before about a US prepaid card?

You may try this: International Call forwarding | Call forwarding your US cell phone or landline to any country. Choose from a variety of U.S. cities and area codes. When you sign in they give you a US phone # in the area you choose. Your PP calls you on that number and it's forwarded to your landline or cellphone in Netherlands. You pay a monthly bill, the rate is USD 0.06 to 0.40 per minute. If you need further information, don't be afraid to ask.

What number do they have to use if they want to call to holland. Is that first 00-31 ?

No for US it's 01131.

no the first 0 they must skip. For example 020 1234567 is: 01131 20 1234567.
