Well one question, perhaps not easy to answer, because there are probebly diferent rules in different states or even in defferent prisons of the same state:
What happens, if I send in a letter a photo of myself to an inmate?

1) If photos are generally allowed in that special prison, it should be no problem, right?

2) If photos are not allowed:
a) will the officers takt out the photos and give the rest of the letter to the inmate?
b) will the officers give nothing of the letter to the inmate?
c) will the inmate get in trouble?

Prisons allow photo's in any prison or any state.

They do not allow polaroid or nude pic' in any prison.

They give the inmate the photo's as well as the letter.

The inmates will not get in trouble as long as not nude pics.

Do not include photos with suggestive body features through thin clothes, Florida will reject. Also if the person is for sexual offenses they may have further restrictions like fully clothed only. If it is a picture you would send to your mom, you are okay. Have fun!

They also won't allow anything with drugs or gang references, like spray painting, hand signs or any sort of drugs showing. So no photos of you hitting a bong or something, or throwing up gang signs.

Usually the prison will charge the inmate to send the letter back, and they won't see it.
